As a thank you to the community and listeners of my podcast, I offered something that was a bit of fun, and would sharpen your hacking skills, should you have been willing to accept the challenge!
Update: the challenge is now complete. The CTF went live on June 21st, 2025, and at the end of the month three correct submissions were chosen at random. All three winners received their 6-month TryHackMe vouchers, and they were very happy with them. Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to everyone who took part! This was NOT affiliated with TryHackMe in any way. I’m just a fan of the THM platform!
Want to sharpen your skills?
- Start by reviewing this video by John Hammond, it’s a good intro as well as his other videos.
- Sign-up for a free TryHackMe account, and start learning the basics!

The Wallpaper
You can still download the wallpaper, if you like that kind of thing. Given how well this one went, I may consider future challenges, perhaps doing some OSINT!
